GUIDELINES ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS
Under the leadership of its two Chairs, the Guidelines Advisory Board (GAB) makes the major decisions on the strategic direction of the iCARDIO Alliance and development of its Global Implementation Guidelines. The GAB decides when to set up a Guidelines Task Force, together with an associated budget and approved timelines.
The GAB is mandated to meet either in person and/or virtually at least six times a year to cover all topics related to the Global Implementation Guidelines under development or future documents. In practice, the GAB usually meets, virtually, on a monthly basis.
The Chairs and Members of the GAB are experts in their respective fields, further selected on the basis of their geographic location, availability and commitment. The Chairs and Members of the GAB contribute their time and expertise on a purely voluntary basis.
